Q: What depth will my custom Cast Metal or custom Formed Plastic sign be?
A: Standard depths for Cast Metal & Formed Plastic signs are listed in the Gemini Product Guide. Custom depths may be available depending on the artwork and overall sign size. Please contact us to confirm producibility.
Q: Is Gemini’s double‑sided tape rated for exterior use?
A: No. Gemini’s Double Face Tape is intended for interior use only. For best results, apply it to a smooth, clean, and dry surface.
Q: How do I clean my sign?
A: Clean your sign using a soft cloth, sponge, or rag with warm, soapy water. Dry with a clean, soft cloth. We recommend using a gentle liquid dish soap and wiping letters, logos, and plaques carefully in the direction of the grain.
Q: Can Gemini use CMYK colors to paint my sign?
A: No. Paint formulas cannot be created from CMYK, RGB, HEX codes, embedded files, or color percentages. Instead, you may choose from a Gemini Standard Color or request a Custom Paint Color.
Q: Can different materials be combined in one sign?
A: In limited cases, combining materials in one sign may be possible. However, for exterior installations, this is typically not recommended. Exposure to the elements can cause different materials to expand and contract at different rates, potentially resulting in damage to the finished sign.
